What is AutoTake?

AutoTake is an AI-powered feature that scans your drawing and automatically detects building materials to generate takeoffs for you.

Instead of measuring everything manually, AutoTake helps speed up your workflow by identifying key elements directly from the plan.

How it works

  1. Open an exterior elevation drawing

  2. Click AI Beta (AutoTake) (X)

  3. Confirm using an AutoTake credit

  4. AutoTake scans the drawing and detects materials

  5. Review and adjust results as needed

AutoTake credits

  • Each scan uses 1 AutoTake credit

  • Your available credits are shown before running AutoTake

  • Credits reset based on your plan

Important notes

  • AutoTake currently works on exterior elevations only

  • The page must be clearly labeled (e.g., include “Exterior Elevation”)

  • Results should always be reviewed before finalizing
