What is the Comment Tool?
The Comment Tool lets you add notes directly onto your drawing to communicate with your team or mark important details.
It’s useful for collaboration, reviews, and keeping everything documented in one place.
How it works
Select the Comment Tool (K) from the toolbar
Click anywhere on the drawing
Enter your comment or note
Save to place it on the plan
Your comment will stay attached to that location on the drawing.
When should I use it?
Use the Comment Tool to:
Leave notes for yourself or your team
Flag issues or questions on the drawing
Clarify scope or assumptions
Communicate changes without leaving the platform
Important notes
Comments do not affect measurements or quantities
They are for communication only
Comments stay pinned to the drawing location for easy reference
This makes it easy to keep all project communication directly tied to your plans 👍
