If your drawing disappears or becomes very small after zooming or panning, first return to a view of the whole sheet.
Use Fit
Click Fit in the drawing view.
The whole sheet comes back into view.
Use the zoom controls to return to the area you need, making small adjustments.
Fit lets you recover the view without first refreshing the page.
If Fit does not resolve it
Finish your current drawing action.
Refresh the page: Command + R on Mac or Ctrl + R on Windows.
Open the sheet again and try Fit.
