Why this happens
If AutoTake isn’t triggering, it’s usually because the page name doesn’t clearly indicate that the drawing is an Exterior Elevation.
AutoTake relies on the page title to detect the correct drawing type.
How to fix it
Go to the left-hand panel and locate your page
Click the three dots (⋮) next to the page name
Select Rename
Add “Exterior Elevation” to the page name
What happens next
Once renamed, AutoTake will recognize the drawing type and should run correctly.
Pro Tip
Make sure all elevation drawings include “Exterior Elevation” in the title to ensure consistent AutoTake detection.
