How can I verify the height or accuracy of a takeoff?

You can verify the accuracy of your takeoff by using the Measure Tool to confirm that your drawing is scaled correctly.

Verify your measurements

  1. Select the Measure Tool from the toolbar (the far-left tool).

  2. Measure a known distance on your drawing.

  3. Compare the measured value with the expected real-world dimension.

If the measured value matches the known dimension, your drawing scale is correct and your takeoff measurements are accurate.

Can I adjust a measurement after it has been created?

Yes. Click on an existing measurement to select it. The measurement will turn blue and display adjustment handles. You can drag the blue handles to increase or decrease the measurement as needed.

📌 Tip: Always verify your drawing scale before starting a takeoff to ensure accurate measurements throughout your project.
