Assemblies are groups of materials that can be applied to your projects. While you can’t edit them directly in a project, you can create and manage them in the Catalog.
Steps to edit or create assemblies
Go to Catalog.
At the top, click on the Assemblies tab.
Create a new assembly using the materials you’ve already edited.
By default, the app will generate a name by combining the material names.
You can rename the assembly to something custom.
Save your assembly.
Your updated assemblies will now be available for selection when taking measurements on the Drawings Edit page.
Tip: To return to the main screen at any time, click the TakeCost logo in the top left-hand corner when you’re on the edit page.
