Tool Bar (center‑bottom of the Edit Page)

Tool

Primary Purpose

Handy Shortcuts / Tips

Count

Tally discrete items (fixtures, anchors, outlets).

• Double‑click to place counts rapidly.
• Press Esc to exit the tool.

Area

Trace irregular shapes to calculate square footage.

• Close the loop by double‑clicking.
Ctrl + Z undoes the last point.

Linear

Measure straight runs such as walls or trim.

• Hold Shift for perfect 0°/90° lines.
• After placing a point, press H to enter wall height.

Box Mode (toggle for Area & Linear)

Switches Linear/Area to quick‑rectangle mode.

• Toggle before the first click.
• Ideal for slabs or simple rooms.

Comments

Drop call‑outs or notes directly on the plan.

• Use @mentions to tag teammates.

**AI Auto Take™ (beta) **

Auto‑quantifies materials on elevation pages.

• Works on up to 50 pages/mo (all tiers).
• Edit AI results like manual measurements.
