The Linear tool measures runs such as walls, footings, curbs, pipes, and perimeters.
Check the drawing scale.
Select Linear in the bottom toolbar, or click Measure on a wall type found under On this sheet.
Click along the run to add points.
Click Finish or press Enter.
Name the measurement and adjust its Properties.
Choose the quantity you need
Length: the run.
Wall: length × wall height.
Volume: includes thickness.
Use Draw boxes for rectangular wall perimeters. Use Add line and Separate segments to include separate runs in one measurement.
